History<\/h2>\n

The company was founded in K\u00f6ngen in 1960 by Ernst, Gerhard and Karl Weigele. They started out by manufacturing laboratory equipment and supplying hydraulic components. A moderate and constant drive for growth allowed EWS to establish a solid foundation for a long-term presence in the metalworking industry.<\/p>\n

EWS has become a medium-sized family-owned company that is globally active and focuses on the development, production and sale of high-precision tool holders for lathes and milling machines, tool transport systems and accessories. Since 2021, the younger generation has also joined the company, which has been actively shaping the future of the EWS Group in various functions since then.<\/p>\n

Products and Service<\/h3>\n

Their core competence lies in the development and production of static and driven tool systems for almost all CNC lathes and turn-mill centers. The range of products extends from products according to specified standards to innovative individual solutions. EWS also offer special parts and custom-made products individually in small quantities.<\/p>\n

The spectrum of their delivery program, combined with the data provided, sets standards worldwide. EWS offer their customers in the vicinity of Uhingen various services in the field of metal processing as contract work. These include: induction hardening, burnishing as well as EDM and wire EDM. Unalterable characteristics of their products and services are customer orientation, technical progress and quality.
